Menu
1st Course
Split Pea soup, vegetarian but made in traditional style with dried peas, onions, carrots and broth
served with bread and butter
2nd Course
Oatmeal pudding, not vegetarian due to the suet
Divers sallets, served with dressed eggs...basically a mixed greens salad with dried fruits, pickles, sugar and dressing
3rd Course
Roasted beast with currant sauce, possibly venisen, more likely beef
roasted carrots with butter and spices, vegetarian
Asparagus forced in french rolls
Chicken pye
4th Course
Cheese cakes, which are actually custards
Some additional items, still to be determined

Directions:
From outside the barony - Take your best route to Nova Scotia and take Highway 104
From Truro and below - Take the 104 toward New Glasgow (exit 15 from the 102)
Once you are on the 104 take Exit 19 at Salt Springs and travel 5.1 km east on Route 4, turn left at West River and take Route 376 towards Pictou. Travel approximately 10.2 km and watch for the West Pictou High School on the left.
